Located in the center of Genoa on a quiet, pedestrian-only street, il Borgo di Genova is a charming guesthouse offering you comfortable, well-located accommodations.
Many of Genoa's popular sights, streets, and museums are an easy walk. Travel by foot into the heart of historic Genoa (the largest pedestrian city center in Europe), to the Aquarium of Genoa, Via Garibaldi and its majestic Rolli palaces (added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 2006), or to Palazzo Ducale with its temporary art exhibitions. Outside of the city, enjoy a rest in the quaint seaside town of Boccadasse or in the green and elegant parks of nearby Nervi. For those with the time and desire to venture further afield, il Borgo di Genova is the perfect home base for day trips along the Ligurian coast by train. From the Genova Brignole station, just five minutes on foot, travel by train to beautiful Italian Riviera towns like Arenzano, Camogli, Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure, Sestri Levante, or the Cinque Terre.
Great comfort with traditional charm. Our guesthouse is in a typical Ligurian home that has been recently restored in a respectful manner to preserve its origins and characteristics of the regional architecture and building style. Where possible, original materials like slate, marble, wrought iron railings, maritime pine, and walnut beams and doors were recovered and used in the renovation. All rooms feature a private en-suite bathroom with shower, LCD TV, wooden bed base, king-size beds, WiFi connection, and facilities for coffee or tea.
