This is the little 2 bedroom casita in the grounds of the larger hotel Caserio del Mirador.
The Casita sits in its own plot of land surrounded by extensive gardens and a large shaded terrace with stunning panoramic views. The French windows of both the master bedroom and the kitchen open onto the sofas, sunbeds, hammock and outside dining area. The terrace is designed to laze away sunny days blending inside and outside living, encouraging you to enjoy the surrounding natural beauty. The master bedroom has a king size four poster bed, there is a basic kitchen with fridge and coffee machine, the second bedroom has twin beds for smaller children and both bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower. Adjacent is the cabin with a big family sofa, bean bags, TV, digital sound system and games console, in case all that fresh air gets too much.
The Casita is a short 100 meter walk from the facilities of the main house, where there is guest space for five other families. Here you are welcome to use the pool (beach towels provided) relax in the shade or sunbathe along side any other guests, enjoy the gardens, the animals, and of course the bar and meals if you wish.

We live in the main house along with our 3 children (big kids now.. 17 14 and 10) and we share the main house with five other families each week, usually travelling with small children. So if you want to be sociable, stroll down the 80 metres of lane and join us for a drink, kids tea time, dinner on the terrace, or a swim. The kitchen is open all week except Monday and Wednesday evenings.
Dinners can be brought to your apartment or terrace, or shared with other guests depending on the weather, how sociable everyone feels and whether the children have settled.
The casita runs whenever possible on solar power and is not heated.
The only rules are no smoking inside, and if smoking outside only on a patio surface, no lighting up while wandering through the olive groves please. and kids must be supervised if they are on the pool terrace.
HI, I am Sarah the cook and reservations person at Caserio del Mirador, a small Spanish hotel specialising in family holidays in the mountains above the Mediterranean. My husband Johnny opens the wine and feeds the goats and makes sure everything that you dont see and dont know runs smoothly! We arrived here in 2003 with two small girls and a boy on the way, he is now 10 and the girls are 14 and 17 and leaving home any minute. Johnny likes motorbikes, I like horses, we both enjoy our siesta when we get the chance and if possible escape sometimes to other AirBnB spots, Ibiza, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Singapore and Sydney.
