One Block to Ocean and One Block to Bay in Secluded South Mission Beach. Stay here with us to enjoy the beach and bay away from the crowds. Restaurants, Markets, Rentals Amusement park, Indoor Pool and Health Club are within walking distance. Rentals for Bikes, Boogie Boards, Surfboards etc are extremely close. Belmont Park is only a stone throw away as well. Stay in South Mission Beach and Enjoy the perfect picturesque sunsets everyday.

The studio has hardwood and tile floors throughout, Redwood walls and closet, tile and travertine marble bathroom, some have granite countertops with bar seating and a pleather queen size couch/futon. Full kitchen with everything you need: Pots, Pans, Plates, Utensils, Glasses, Cups, Coffee Maker, Stove & Oven, Full Sized Refrigerator and Stainless Steel Appliances. Relax seated on the porch reading a book or playing a guitar taking in the luke warm and breezy air.

Extremely close to all restaurants, shops, bike rentals, surfboard rentals, para sailing, jet skis, etc.

7.Guests agree to take property as is and sight unseen. All properties have been cleaned before each occupancy and is in good condition. Guests to provide paper products.
8.Guest agrees to adhere to any house rules posted
9.Kitchen, baths, and floors thoroughly cleaned, trash deposited in outside black bins, recyclables in blue bin, linen laundered and stacked on bed(s) before departure (unless cleaning fee is paid in advance)
10.Property must be left in reasonable condition- If property requires additional cleaning beyond normal use additional fees may be assessed.
11.No smoking inside or outside premises. No candles or incense permitted.
12.I have read and understand company policies (found on the website or in paper form)
13.Utilities will be deducted from deposit on monthly rentals.
14.If property is left damaged your security deposit will be assessed via AirBNB.

Pros: -Location, location, location!! This place is so close to the beach and nearby coffee shops and restaurants! Very cute area! -Host was easy to contact by email or phone. -Host let us check in late with lockbox for keys. -Well stocked kitchen utensils and cooking equipment. -Linens and bedding provided. Cons: -Parking. The assigned spot is in a corner of 4 spots in a square. If your neighbor is already parked in their spot you have to knock on their door and pray they answer and are nice enough to move their car so you can park in your spot. It's the same thing to get out as well. Honestly I just wouldn't bring a car and uber around instead. -Small sleeping area. You pull the main bed from the wall and lay out the futon, but it's so squished you basically create one huge bed. -Lots of flies. House flies and fruit flies as soon as we entered the apartment. We didn't even eat or keep food at the place and they were there the whole time. -Linens and towels look old and very worn out. -Very hot and stuffy inside apartment even with provided fan. It felt better to be outside in sun than inside. Other: management thought it was ok to knock (more like about to tear our door down) at 8am without any notice to get something from the apartment. The lady was not polite and wouldn't even wait for me to put clothes on, so we had a great conversation with me just in a skimpy towel. Really ruined the last bit of our vacation. Location is great but I was not impressed with the management company at all.

The review is for unit 7. The location was definitely not bad. It is great for people who enjoy the beach and the bay. We did run into a few nuances such as TV operation (and why we switch to unit 7), partial kitchen range problem, wifi pages in the instruction book being outdated, missing listed bathroom amenities, and the one thing I really need -HAIR DRYER, but in the end, we figured it out. On the last day I got the hair dryer from them. Nothing is terrible and minor, but I think the issues we ran into were preventable.

To state the obvious, the location is perfect. It is a block from the ocean beach, a block from the bay beach and comfortable walking distance to the Belmont Park amusement rides. We did have a fun time during our stay. But there were a host of problems that kept us annoyed. They advertise a reserved parking space but did mention you share a long space with another car. You have to ask your neighbor to move their car to get out, or vice versa. It didn't seem well-managed. There were no linens for the futon and the owner had to retrieve some. There were no toiletries, dish soap, or trash bags. These have been provided at other AirBNBs I've used. Other minor kinks were a crack in the window screen and a nonfunctional power outlet. None of these problems were dealbreakers and we did have fun. It was just a lot of annoyances. The neighbors in our building were quiet but there was a lot of noise across the street one night. For the most part the location is comfortably south of the loud teenagers near the park. We took a gamble renting a place with no air conditioning and it worked out fine. I imagine it would be a lot worse in the summer.

In response to your review. The owner was onsite in #8. Any issues you had you could have asked him. He would have helped you with the issues as well as I if you had asked us. The outlet is powered by the switch to the light in the bathroom. The parking is reserved in Tandem as it says in the listing. The screen was a little bent but should have not been an issue. The owner has been informed and will be replacing the screen. There is dish soap and trash bags that are under the sink. But for Shampoo we do not provide. There was body soap in the shower. I hope you had a pleasant stay and just wish you could have let us know about your issues.
