We have had MANY COUPLES staying at the STUDIO, they never felt it was the way it is qualified here -
It is a STUDIO, not an apartment - at very low cost for the amenities provided: Great WIFI, Good quality spring mattrass, Kitchenette, Big fridge, plates, pans and pots -
Hot Shower, Western Toilet, Terrace, garage -
The photos of the place are "CERTIFIED by AIRBNB" means NOT photoshopped, nothing is hidden or disguised -
Should we mention the Floor Surface then?

The House Keeper does a thorough cleaning of the Studio prior to any arrival: a minimum of 2h30 work - making sure
1/ sheets and all Bed/Bath/Kitchen Linen are sent to laundry and changed with new fresh ones
2/ curtains and mosquito net are washed every 4-6 weeks
3/ any left over garbage is taken away, dust bin is bleached
4/ the place is carefully dusted, brushed and washed with floor soap,
5/ Toilet, wash basin, ceramic table are brushed with "Unilever" and "Johnson" cleaning materials
6/ then all Bathroom, Kitchen and bedRoom are sprayed in every corner with our own Essential Oil formula (not Baygon!), to prevent insects, mould, etc.
It "felt dirty" is maybe a personal judgement rather than reality, comparing with US standards rather than taking into account quality/price -

Ah, sorry i find this funny.... wasps and other insects were here BEFORE US and possibly after us as well.
This is a "semi-open-air" Bathroom, and thats what Guests like, the feeling of air & natural light -
yes, certainly insects might fly in - it's a TROPICAL island after all -
But "disgusting" ?

When coming to Indonesia in JANUARY one can expect RAIN and humidity - as mentioned in any Guide-Book/On-Line Weather forecasts -
We have repainted the walls to keep the atmosphere fresh and clean -
we ventilate the studio ALL THE TIME when there are no Guests, both door + window wide open to let the sun in,
we leave the fan ON while doing the cleaning -
and again, we spray Essential oils that prevent micro organisms from growing -
In any case, we always tell our guests to COMMUNICATE with us if there is any issue - this we feel is a far better way of solving an issue versus LEAVING without a word, then writing a negative Review -
We give our Guests a Booklet with
ALL OUR CONTACT NR and PERSONAL EMAIL ADDR -
this would have been a much better option: INTERNET works fast in the Studio and as a proof of it, contacting our Driver was easly done -
Finally, the positive comment about MADE, our Driver, makes us so happy to have him acknowledged, he has been working with us for the past seven yrs and we always highly recommend him.
