A classic North Yorkshire red brick 4 bed farmhouse, nestled between the Moors and Dales. Nearby is the thriving market town of Northallerton with a branch of the famous Betty's tearooms. The house is spacious, with a large garden, outdoor furniture and bbq. The neighbouring villages of Welbury and Appleton Wiske have several pubs, village shop and play ground. A short drive away is the well renowned farm shop Roots supplying local veg, meat and other produce.

Prostor
Greenhills Farmhouse is spacious. The large master bedroom has an en-suite with large walk-in shower and 3/4 bath under the eaves. Bed 2 can be configured as a twin or double room, as can Bed 3 which also has 2 single sofa beds, making it ideal as a family room. Bed 4 is the smallest room and has a double bed. The family bathroom is big, with a walk in shower and roll-top freestanding bath.
The welcoming kitchen dining area is big enough for all to congregate at the end of a busy day to enjoy rustling up something delicious on the double oven and 6 gas burner Rangemaster, or with a glass of something in front of the log burner! There are a further 3 reception rooms; a sitting room with smart tv and log burner, a library and a playroom. The latter has a desk if work is simply unavoidable and also a sofa bed, dvd player as well as a selection of children's toys and books.
Outside the garden is large and mainly laid to lawn, surrounded by secure fencing. There is a big paved area outside the kitchen door with table, benches and bbq for al fresco dining. There is also a small paved area to the rear of the house with an outdoor sofa to catch the evening sun during the summer months.
Greenhills Farmhouse is on a working farm, fields surrounding the house may have sheep or cows grazing. The barn next to the house is mainly used for grain or hay storage, with cows in the rear during winter. It is not a particularly busy farm, you are likely to see a tractor once or twice a day dependent on the time of year. Please note that the farm does not belong to the house therefore access to the fields or barns is not permitted.
Dogs are permitted by arrangement but MUST be kept under strict control due to livestock in surrounding fields.

Guests have access to the whole house and all outside areas. The woodshed to the side of the house and old forge are private and locked.
The house is on a working farm. The barns and surrounding fields are not owned by the house and access to them is not permitted.

Minimum stays: During peak season (Christmas, Easter & Summer) we have a minimum stay of 5/6 nights. At other times the minimum is 3 nights. However please enquire as shorter stays may be available during peak time dependent on availability (an additional charge will be payable however for shorter stays in peak season).
The house is accessed via a gravel farm track used a couple of times a day (season dependent) by a tractor. We do our utmost to keep this in good order, however be aware that in winter or after prolonged wet weather large puddles and or pot holes may develop.

Ja sam supružnik u vojsci (i sam rezervist) pa u trenucima kad ne možemo živjeti na farmi Greenhills, stavljamo je na raspolaganje putem AirBnB-a. Mi smo aktivna obitelj s malom djecom i psima - nikad nije dosadno! Volimo boraviti na otvorenom, posebno u sjevernom Yorkshireu na močvari ili uz more!
Kako bi vaš novac bio siguran, uvijek se koristite Airbnbom za slanje novca i komunikaciju s domaćinima.
