Welcome to Author's Retreat! Enjoy a nice stay with us and meet our pets and enjoy our gardens. If you'd like to talk about writing, more than happy to discuss. Close to Wigram, Hornby, Riccarton and the road south and of course the airport. Come and go as you like. Enjoy the odd surprise dinner with us and enjoy good company. You must like dogs! This listing is for booking two single rooms. I have another listing for just one single room. Bedrooms contain king single beds

Enjoy watching tele in the lounge or engaging in conversation and a meal in the lounge. We like to surprise our guests with joining us for dinner sometimes. Love to cook Italian, Chinese and yes we do the odd Kiwi roast.

You must like dogs. Arthur is old, big and friendly and wants cuddles. He likes to be involved as they are companion dogs. Follows Julie everywhere! We normally lock him away around teatime as he tries to watch everyone and he gets in the way.
Echo the German Shepard puppy lives out in the sleep out, she too loves cuddles when you come in the gate but has her own space to be locked away when needed.
