Visit Peebles for good shops and restaurants, Traquair House and Kailzie Gardens. The property is around an hour’s drive from both Edinburgh and Glasgow, or by train from Carstairs, 12 miles. Hill walking, cycling, fishing and golf all nearby. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.
