Exploring the world, meeting interesting people & seeking life enriching experiences is our passion. A couple of years ago we took our love of travel to a new level. We lived in short term furnished rentals around the world and settled into places that we wanted to learn more about. Upon returning to the US we had a new vision: To create a home and guest quarters we could share with others while we were out and about enjoying other people's spaces and places. And so our dream for McKinley Place and the Grayfield Cottage was born. After a year of thoughtful planning, careful design and a LOT of help from family and friends, we are ready to manifest our vision. We enjoy meeting new people and when we are home, we are available to share our experience of the surrounding area and we are interested in hearing about your travel experiences, if you're so inclined. Much of the time we are traveling, and friends & family live in the main hose while we are gone. We also understand & respect guests who want to be left undisturbed. We've created an extensive guestbook with "how to's" and "where to's" and have self check in and check out for those folks who want to be left on their own. We communicate via the AirBnB message app - as it allows us to respond more quickly!
