My relaxed townhouse is superbly located in trendy North Hobart. A minute walk to the strip of cafes, bars and restaurants. Also an easy 15 min walk to Salamanca and the MONA ferry. You will share my lovely home with my co-host Kirilly, a majestic cat called Blackbeard and my old dog Rufus. Welcome.
Suitable for a couple, 2 friends or a single person. The room is on the top floor an beautiful, old staircase to it, and is spacious with a closed-in chilled balcony, and a very comfy queen size bed. There is central gas heating throughout the house to give it that extra cosy feel, especially in winter. The home is located in such an incredible spot for exploring the city, and I trust you will feel at home as soon as you arrive. There are 2 courtyards to have your morning coffee in or read a book if you like. A continental breakfast with tea/coffee (help yourself) is included. Just make sure you clean up after yourself is all I request. Enjoy.
All amenities shared with Kirilly and my flatmate Luke. Guests are free to use the kitchen if they like, and also washing/drying facilities. There is one shower, and two toilets with soap supplied. Also there is a lounge room where you can watch TV, play some records or have a meal or just relax. A simple help yourself continental breakfast with local honey, peanut butter, jam and eggs with coffee is included.

I live here with my old dog Rufus. I ran my own Pharmacy Business, but now freelance and love to socialise. I'm currently travelling the world for 6 months so my co-host Kirilly and my flatmate Luke will look after you. You can also hang out with Rufus the dog and Blackbeard the cat :)
Kirilly is very happy to help you if you want with any questions or advice on what to visit whilst you are staying. But you can come and go as you please, we will chat as much as/or as little as you like.
Kirilly and I love interacting with fellow travelers, and always want to give back what people gave us whilst we have each traveled the world or interstate.
My dog Rufus is a great companion and loves people. So I hope you love dogs, if not it doesn't matter. But you will find yourself falling in love with him as soon as you meet him.
Also Mi Casa su Casa. Please relax and make yourself at home.
The house is very relaxing and chilled, with guests encouraged to make themselves at home. Although please just treat and leave the house how it was upon your arrival. If you are a smoker, you can smoke outside in any of the courtyards.
I am a relaxed, easy going guy who luckily has been able to travel to all corners of the globe. I first backpacked in 2004 for a year and have never lost the travel bug since. I recently had adventures to the amazing Cuba, San Francisco and the incredible Burning Man experience in Nevada, USA. Also a recent to trip to Indonesia and an Indian trip planned soon.
I love doing Airbnb and opening up my home to guests from all over the world and Australia. I have been hosting for airbnb for over a year now and have made many friends during this time. The sharing community is really growing and it is an exciting time to be alive.
I used to run my own Community Pharmacy Business, which I thoroughly enjoyed, especially the interaction with my wonderful customers and staff.
You can always find me at a local music gig, play or market on the weekends. I just love music and at any opportunity I will be listening or watching it in my spare time, especially at the Republic Bar just 2 minutes away.
I tend to meet up with friends for a coffee or a beer when I can, or set off on a hike or run to one of our beautiful mountains here in Tasmania. I have a very loyal old dog called Rufus, who never leaves my side and is very welcoming to anyone staying. I have stayed with many people all over the world when I have traveled, and I would love to give back some of the wonderful hospitality people showed me.
Hobart is such a happening place these days with MONA, more and more festivals and cafes/bars. It is still one the most beautiful town's in the world and I am proud to show visitors where I grew up and where I still call home.
