Spectacular oceanfront treehouse B&B, where zen meets west coast. This newly built cabin in the trees is the ultimate in glamping - the perfect opportunity to retreat into nature. The private deck and king day bed allow for a cozy stay to watch eagles perch on nearby arbutus trees or seals bob their heads as they pass by. Relax on the secluded beach, scoop up some oysters for a snack or enjoy happy hour in the setting sun.
NOTE: GST is collected as a 'resort' fee on nightly rate only.

Summer time offers warmth and long nights, beach and water activities. Rinse off at the beach shower in the summer. Winter time is cozy and offers a time of hibernation to read, paint, relax. When the daybed is extended to the king bed, it pretty much takes up most of the square footage in the treehouse. The bed will be be extended when you arrive. The bathroom is separate from the Treehouse.

The cozy space consists of a bay window to sit & relax (although it can sleep one small person as well), a daybed turned king bed, and a small kitchenette. The kitchenette includes a mini fridge, dishes/utensils, cutting board, kettle, French coffee press, teapot, and complimentary tea & coffee. The fridge is stocked with granola, yogurt, cream and almond milk. There is no running water in the treehouse but has a water dispenser, basins and cloths.
This tranquil space is the ultimate retreat from the noise and chaos of the city. Glamping at its finest, you will be immersed in nature with only the essentials. A BBQ is available on the property. Pots, pans, tongs etc. may be requested for use with the BBQ.

Sheets, linens, towels, beach towels are provided.

Close to the town of Ganges, just 5 minutes to shopping and far enough away that you are away from it all. Neigborhood is quiet. Beach is private and has only a few houses in the cove. The beach is full of oysters, and check the shellfish warning to ensure they are safe for consumption.

Arriving from Edmonton many years ago on the West Coast, I soon fell in love with the ocean, the mountains and the plethora of outdoor activities. Salt Spring became a frequently visited island to continue to explore the outdoors and take a break from the whirlwind of city life. Salt Spring is home to many fond memories of family and friends and I am grateful to be able to have this sanctuary to share.

Working in the healthcare industry for many years as a nurse, I am committed to healing and health in a very holistic way. My home on Salt Spring offers this holistic approach to health and wellness. The calm waves of the ocean, the serenity of the sunsets, the freshness of the forests bring a mindful and present state of being. I am also a new Kundalini yoga instructor and teach classes in the newly renovated studio on the property. Guests are welcome to drop in to yoga classes when scheduled.

And if you need a dose of action, Ganges is a short hop away to pick up groceries, take in the Saturday market, take a yoga class or shop at the many galleries.
