Available for 1 month minimum starting in Jan 2015
This cozy and eclectic, 1 bedroom apartment is in a lovely Victorian house adjacent to Dexter Park in Providence's Armory/West End District.
Contact me to discuss your requirements!
Many of the original features of the apartment remain, so if you have a taste for yesteryear and an appreciation of the quirks and foibles of an un-restored space from a bygone era, this apartment would make a great choice for your visit to Providence.
There is a bedroom, with a Queen sized bed, a bathroom, with claw-foot tub and shower, a sunny kitchen ideal for enjoying breakfast, a dining room, and a large living room. There is also a sizable deck, with ample room for lounging, catching a breeze and checking out what's happening in Dexter Park across the way.
The apartment is ideally suited for 1-2 adults looking for a safe and well-located homebase to explore all that Providence has to offer.
The apartment itself is on the second floor of a 3-story house, with stair access from the front and rear of the building. It's a quiet area and the arrangement of the apartment, being set back from the main road to the front, creates an additional feeling of privacy.
There is high-speed internet access available for you to use and private garage parking for your vehicle, if you have one.

Whenever possible, I'll try to be here to welcome you to the apartment, before handing over the keys. If not, I'm always available to answer questions about the apartment.
There is a lot to do around Providence and the surrounding area, and I am happy to and offer sight-seeing tips, a list of my favorite antique shops, bike path suggestions, and hiking and other outdoor recommendations.
No Smoking, Candles or Pets are permitted.
Out of consideration for our neighbors, above and below, no loud music or parties are allowed in the apartment.
I am a well-traveled artist and RISD graduate (BFA 1993).
I grew up in Massachusetts, went to college in Providence, studied in Germany for six years (so I speak German and am always happy to reminisce about life in Europe!), moved to San Francisco and the California coast of a while, returned to the east coast, and lived most recently in Brooklyn for five years (where I still love to visit).
Living in Providence now, I enjoy the easy access to both culture and outdoor activities. I am happy to share tips on nice walking, hiking, and paddling areas around RI and the rest of New England.
