Paul our caretaker is available for questions and concerns
There is a one week Saturday to Saturday minimum from late June through Labor Day weekend.
Please note we do not provide bed sheets or bath towels. There are plenty of blankets and pillows in the house. You may bring your own linens or rent them locally. Please ask for rental information.
We do have a few requests. Treat our home as if it were yours. In other words, take advantage of all it has to offer but please treat it with respect. We know you’re here to have a good time and we absolutely want you to. All we ask is that you take care and use common sense…by that we mean don’t have your lobster for dinner for 12 crammed in front of the TV in the living room (please eat all your meals at one of the dining tables), don’t let your kids run around unsupervised with their crayons or painting set, and don’t hang your wet beach clothes on the furniture. You get the idea. Keep outside things (tricycles, big wheels, etc.) outside or downstairs in the garage.
If something gets broken, please let us know, we won’t yell at you, we promise. We know things happen and that’s part of owning a rental house. Use your best judgment and we’ll all be happy with the outcome.
Opening the House
The house will be clean and ready for your arrival. There really isn’t anything to do other than put some food in the fridge and make the beds. Please note:
•Instruction manuals for the major and minor appliances, etc. are located in the bottom drawer of the chest in the kitchen.
•Local area information, maps, etc. is located in the chest in the kitchen.
•Trash bags can be found under kitchen and bath sinks and in the basement on the shelves. Cleaning supplies can be found in the cabinet above the washer/dryer or in the foyer hall closet, or on the metal shelves in the basement. A simple guideline: if you use it up, please replace it.
Closing the House
The house should be left tidy and clean.

•There are 2 vacuums in the house, one upright in the upstairs master bedroom closet and an Electrolux in the foyer closet at the top of the basement stairs. The upright does not need a bag; the bags for the Electrolux are in the foyer closet
•Double check for personal belongings (CDs in the audio cabinet, etc.)
•Please wash and put away any cloth dish towels you may have used
If you’d like to leave behind things like plastic bags, plastic wrap and aluminum foil, coffee filters, etc. for the next guest that’s fine, but please no food items.
