Stay with us in the servant's quarters of one of the oldest houses in Somerville, a 15 minute stroll from Harvard's campus, and a short jaunt from Porter and Union Squares.
The apartment has vaulted ceilings, wide pine planked floors, and original windows. You'll have your own room, and share the bathroom and common spaces with us. Usually, only Erez is around (Alon is off at college).
According to Wikipedia, "Built c. 1860, the three story wood frame house is one of the city's finest Italianate houses. It has typical Italianate features, include extended eaves with paired brackets, and an oculus window in the front gable. It also has corner pilasters, and windows with bracketed lintels and sills. The house was built for Alexander Foster, a lumber dealer, and was one of the first houses to be built in that area of Somerville's Spring Hill area."
Guests have their own key, with 24 access to the common area and their room.

We're home late evenings and will be hanging out in the common area, often having a late meal. Feel free to join us for a beer or a glass of wine!
We have two very friendly cats, Mookie and Pumpkin.
Feel free to use the kitchen, but please clean up after yourselves. No pets, and please smoke outside on the front porch. Oh, and please don't feed the cats; they do a convincing, "We haven't eaten in weeks!" but it's a scam.

Hello! I am a water polo player, who will be attending Fordham University next fall. I studied abroad in Naples, Italy for a year, so if you are Italian, we can converse in your native tongue. My brother, Erez, is a lecturer at MIT and Harvard. Our shared interested include music, backpacking, cooking, and skateboarding. We are originally Israeli, but have been in the States for pretty much our whole lives.
