Honestly, you seemed upset and cool when you arrived. I now understand that you expected to enter a "cabin". So sorry you did not realize that "Faux Cabin" "means fake; imitation". Used as a poetic metaphor to describe the ambiance or experience inside the space (fireplace, knotty pine, stonework).
Additionally my description clearly states that "it is below grade".
Quoted from my description,
"Garden level Suite. Imagine inside, Northwoods Cabin. Cool Summer days. Toasty Wintertime. Walk yourself 3/4 below ground- level. Descend,......"
Three windows on the south end and two north are easily opened (one had been) There is a de humidifier, as well as a vent. I've hosted over 100 happy guests, honoring a "super host status." I also strive to maintain high standards.
I understand, as you say, you have severe allergies, could you also be allergic to "down", as I offer down pillows, as well as others. Another element to air mixing is a real-use fireplace in sleeping area; might you have been sensitive to that?
In nearly four years of hosting this is a "first". I would love to have responded in real time where I could have responded and perhaps check my operations, made corrections, and done something about it. I'm sorry you did not have a great experience, and am happy to compensate you to your reasonable satisfaction.
