Our beautiful cabin sits in Clarksville on 6 acres that are adjacent to major ATV trails and the Hurlburt Nature Conservancy Area. We are minutes from Lake Francis and the Connecticut Lakes in NH's northernmost town, Pittsburg. Come visit us!
The cabin has a living room, a bedroom downstairs that sleeps 3, a loft that sleeps two, a living room that sleeps 2, a galley kitchen with all standard amenities, and a three piece bath. All linens for bed and bath are provided. The kitchen is equipped with an electric range and oven, coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, blender, and a small refrigerator. Pots, pans, plates, eating utensils are also provided, as well as basic sundry items. A small flatscreen TV for DVD viewing is available, as well as a local access telephone line, with provided long-distance calling cards. We intentionally do not have internet connection, although if you find you need it, there are cafés downtown that offer it free of charge. The cabin is heated with a quiet and efficient propane space heater in the living room. Food bowls, a dog bed, and long lead line are provided for your pet.
The cabin and its 6 acres are all yours during your stay. AirBnB will provide you with the itinerary, including our detailed directions, upon confirmation of your reservation.

We are just a phone call away if you need us, and will call the evening of your arrival to ensure you've arrived safely, but other than that, but we respect your privacy.
**ATV and snowmobile trails are plentiful and growing by the day! We are just minutes away from access points on West Road.

**Please note that you are absolutely welcome to bring along your dog. We have dog bowls, a big dog bed, and an extra long lead line for exploring the great outdoors!
Please NO candles or smoking inside!
Please do NOT put trash into the fire pit.
Please take your trash with you when you depart. Please do not leave it outside, or creatures will make a mess of it.
We (Mike and Amy) love working on projects together! When not at our day jobs (Mike works for the National Guard, and Amy is an elementary school teacher), we run an entertainment company and perform across the East Coast. We can't help but find new avenues for our creativity and search for fun.
We first joined AirBnB with the intention of searching out more personal and unique travel accommodations that were a better value for our money than hotel chains. In our first year, we stayed at five different places, and fell in love with the concept, the hosts, and the homes. We could decide on a last-minute weekend getaway, and spend little more than a single night on the town. We quickly decided we wanted to host as well; we made mental note of the personal and helpful touches our hosts provided, in order to incorporate them into our own spaces.
In 2013, we listed our first rental space in the Great North Woods. We found that we truly enjoy and take pride in creating a warm, welcoming, and safe space for our guests. We have met many wonderful and interesting people, which has made our experience all the richer. In 2015, we decided to add another two listings in Henniker, NH, and have appreciated the same success and positive interaction, and look forward to many more to come!
Mike has a son, and we own two cats and a dog, so we understand the potential stresses of traveling with all of these in mind. Our spaces are both family and pet friendly, so you have one less worry and expense when considering travel. We are as present or as absent as you prefer, and are more than happy to share recommendations and travel tips, should you desire. Please just let us know what who is traveling, what your needs are, and how we can best accommodate you!
