Twin daybed to sleep one person comfortably. Facing the street so gets street noise as well as the traffic in/out the building as it's right next to the front door. Privacy for the most part as I will be working or in my room all the time.
Located right above Times Square. I have a cozy living room that has a daybed that's perfect for someone who needs to crash for a a few nights. You'll be sharing with a parrot who obviously won't bother you as she stays caged. I've got a full bathroom and reading materials available :) I'll be in the bedroom and keeping to myself so the living room is all yours.
The apt faces the street (51st) on the first floor so you'll get a lot of outside noise. On the weekends, however you will hear more people coming in and out of the building as the apartment is the very first one when you enter the building. My building's door couldn't be fixed so it can get quite loud, depending on how the person leaves (it seems to slam shut due to bad installation). This is definitely NOT the place for someone who cannot tolerate noise. M
-No shoes inside.
-Please clean up after yourself. That means remembering to flush, washing your dishes, taking your trash out. I am not your maid.
-Do not drink water from a glass and put it back. That's gross. Wash it.
-My food and drink are mine. Do not take my stuff. There is a water pitcher if you want water.
There's also a cheap, quarter only washer/dryer in the basement, right down the hall from the apt.
My apt is 2 blocks away from the CE trans (ACE line) and 3 blocks from the 1 train (123 line). A few blocks north of Times Square and a few blocks south of Lincoln Center, it's pretty central and very close to tons of bars and restaurants, esp for those who like Italian or Thai.
Cleaning and utility fees are included in the nightly rental so no need to shell out more!
Bathroom, Laundry (in basement of the building, just go down the hallway of the building. Washers take $1.50 to wash, $2.00 to dry -- quarters only). I do have detergent but please be respectful.

Big Asshole or Small Asshole
No shoes in the house. That means the bathroom too.
Please do not party in my apartment. You're welcome to have someone come by but don't throw a party.
Clean up after yourself. If you need to use dishes, wash them when you're done. Spill something, wipe it. Have trash, toss it.
I'm a young professional living and working in NYC. I work 9-5 and generally keep quiet during the week. I'm clean and pretty tidy.
I also have a parrot named Lolita. She's a yellow naped Amazon that lives in the living room as well but she's caged and won't bother you. But she hates men but that hasn't been a problem yet...
