Your host, Michel, is a veritable fountain of great knowledge of the city: the trendiest, best restaurants; the most romantic venues; excursions, guided tours, rental cars, golfing reservations, spas(we are opening our own adjacent to the riad September 2017)
Dar Zelda has so many return guests doubtless thanks to Michel, your host's, hard work. He was born in a large hotel on the southern coast of Brittany, France.
We want you to feel right at home at Dar Zelda. You can take your breakfast up on the terrace as early or as late as you wish. You can choose typically Moroccan, English(eggs/omelets) or continental breakfast. Beverages such as coffee, mint tea and orange juice are served free throughout the day.
Hello everybody! I was an exchange student to Britanny in France when I was 16, and never came back home to the states, having fallen in love. I spent 2 1/2 years at the American University in Paris, 1 year at l'Universite de Versailles, studied auctioneering at Sotheby's Paris, then graduated in French and political science at the College of Charleston in SC(USA). I worked in a famous French night club, Le Calao, for 9 years as manager, then bought and renovated this riad in Marrakech in 2001, one of the very first boutique hotels in the 'red city'. I adore Marrakech every day more, for its vibrance, colors, perfume, cuisine, and its amazing Bedouin hospitality. This magical, desert city has now stolen my heart. It will do the same for you!
