Currently Sea Glass is the only place in the area providing linen and towels.
This holiday home is large enough for two families. It boasts two living rooms, five bed rooms and endless abundant decking.
The property backs on to expansive parkland complete with kids playground. From the park you can stroll across one street and you're on the beach.
The upstairs deck provides ocean and parkland views, as well as glimpses of Cape Liptrap and Wilson's Promontory.
The idyllic hamlet of Waratah Bay is a hidden gem. The lack of shops and development feel both nostalgic and precious. Combine that with pristine coast line and National Park. The result is an overwhelming feeling that you have found a truly unique place.
The house provides all you'd want in a modern renovated beach house including:

- There are two lounge areas, the ground floor one has air-con

- The full cooks kitchen includes coffee pod machine, large oven, dishwasher and cooking utensils
- Washing machine and dryer
- 500 thread count bed linen and bath towels provided.
- Cleaned and well maintained by the owners (who live locally and stay there frequently).

- Linen and cleaning on departure are included in the price. There are no add-on fees.
Shearwater is a big house. It requires between 6 and 8 hours to clean. Big groups take much longer to clean after, and use more electricity, water and firewood, so we have set up a sliding scale pricing. It is a flat rate for up to 4 guests. Each guest after 4 is an additional $50 per night. That way we don't exclude small groups, and it covers the additional cleaning and costs for larger groups.
No smoking inside.
We expect all guest to be respectful to the neighbouring community in regards to noise.

Hi my name is Fleur. My husband Mike and I have a small flock of holiday houses and cabins, that we run as our management company Dufflebird.
We manage 9 Holiday Houses that are all within 2.5 hours of Melbourne. All places are different but they are similar in that they all have personality and they are all surrounded by nature.
3 of our 9 properties are more like cabins than houses.
3 of our properties belong to us, and the other 6 belong to friends (or friends of friends).
7 of the 9 properties are pet friendly (and 6 of those welcome well behaved inside dogs).
Some are rustic and eclectic & some are more contemporary and luxurious.
All places are close to beaches or waterfalls.
Each house is fitted out to feature its own individual character and all are completely self-contained. We have set them all up so that guests can feel like its their own private getaway, while in residence.
Its a commitment keeping each place well maintained and organised. a labour of love. We hope to appeal to like minded souls who are respectful to our properties, the neighbours (in places where there are neighbours) and the surrounding community.
