In a word... Fantastic! I booked this hotel for my fiancee and her cousin as they had business in Bacolod. My fiancee, who used to work with hoteliers, was very impressed by the absolute cleanliness of the room. Though basic it was sparkling clean! The bathroom was spacious and everything worked, something that you don't always find in a Philippines hotel, even ones that are much more expensive. She was thrilled with the WiFi. We live in the province and our WiFi and Internet can be pretty hit or miss, so we've gotten used to fighting with it all the time. No problem with that here. Perfect WiFi/Internet. There is a Korean restaurant next door that both my fiancee and her cousin raved about. Service there was quick, fast and polite and the food was very tasty. Communications with Bob are exceptional. He is very "on top of things" and responds immediately to either AirBNB emails or telephone calls. Bob and his staff were very gracious and hospitable and are more than willing to work with you with regard to early check-in and any other issue. Though slightly off the "beaten path" there are jeepneys, trikes and taxis available for transportation. This is a very quiet and peaceful place to stay. I heartily recommend this property to anyone wanting good, clean accommodations that are spotlessly clean and where you can depend on WiFi, Internet and other services to be in good working order. Tremendous value! We will be staying here whenever we have business in Bacolod or are in transit from the airport.
Bob was very quick to respond and it was very easy to book this room. Perfect for a quick stay, and they generously provided a cup of noodles and some coffee. Tiny brief issue with the hot water, but when I really needed was regular temperature to cool off anyways LOL. Bob was quick to respond to address. Would stay with again.
The room was very nice! I had 2 twin beds, my own bathroom, and an overall spacious area. They provided towels, soap, tissue, and the shower was very nice. The caretaker, Cora, was extremely kind and welcoming. I did have some trouble sleeping though because the room is on Lacson Street. Loud motorcycles went by throughout the night and it sounded like they were about to drive through my room. With that being said, I'm a very light sleeper. Overall, I had a wonderful stay!
If it's about value for money, there's no doubt about it. If it's about location, it's a little secluded for me although there's a Korean restaurant next door. The staff were helpful but I didn't feel the warm welcome. I mean, they were not rude but there was no extra gesture like asking me if there was anything else that I needed or informing me where to look for them if I needed something, or giving me right away the wifi password or showing me where to get hot water. Another extra gesture would be to have the complimentary coffee and noodle readily available especially for those who would be late for their check-in. Overall, I enjoyed my stay there and it was still worth it nonetheless. I'd recommend this to anyone.
