My flat is situated in the center of Paris closed to Montparnasse- Bienvenue. Tube / Metro station : Alésia line 4.
The charming peaceful & luminous flat has 2 rooms with big double insulated windows, its 28 m2 all together and its on the 3rd floor of a typical Parisian building.
The living room and kitchen are separated by a small dining table, my textile workshop has a view on Alesia's church. The kitchen is well-equipped with: electric stove, oven, toaster, water boiler, full fridge and medium washing machine and I have been know to sleep in my textile workshop during a visitors stay.
On the other side of the flat there is a big bedroom with a really comfortable double bed, a desk, access to internet and hangers for your clothes.
There is a neighboring buildings open courtyard with a big tree out the bedroom window.
The bathroom has a sink, shower and toilets, with little room to spare.
there is a hairdryer you can use, and I provide towels & bedsheets.
I love the 14th arrondissement for its dynamism and family feel.
There are shopping streets nearby and grocery stores like : BIOCOOP, organic shop , MONOPRIX supermarkets , DOMINIQUE SAIBRON bakery ( really nice croissants !), cafés & restaurants, cinemas all within walking distance.
Street markets can be found on rue Brézin ( on tuesdays & fridays ) and rue Daguerre (on sundays).
For a stroll i recommend : Montsouris park, only 10 min by foot and there are lots of charming streets around Plaisance.
The closest flea-market (Puces de Vanves) for antiques, vintage and anything else is every sunday at, Porte de Vanves.
Alesia metro / tube station and bus stops are close by.
For people coming from Charles de Gaulle airport, there is the RER, B line which goes directly to Denfert - Rochereau which is only a 10 minute walk from my flat.
Between my textile creations on display in the flat and fabrics carefully folded for storage, and collected objects around the world, the sound of bells might wake you up on the morning but you will most definitely have a unique experience during your stay in Paris...
thanks for your interest and i hope we can meet soon
