Cosy double room with stunning view of the River Clyde and private parking. Myself and my young daughter will give you a friendly welcome. The flat is super convenient for exploring the city and gives easy access to the SECC/Hydro. Enjoy the 5-10min river walk to town.
Cosy private double room with stunning view of the River Clyde and private parking. Our friendly flat offers a super convenient base for exploring the city as well as easy access to the SECC/Hydro. Enjoy the 10min river walk to town & Central Station
The room is in a friendly family flat (I have a young daughter), with stunning river views, a central location and private parking. Its set back from the main part of the house so you have a quiet retreat from family life if you want.
With a comfortable double bed it sleeps two, is small but has spacious fitted mirrored wardrobes. The shared use bathroom is just down the hall, as is the comfy living/dining room and kitchen.
The views from the living room are as stunning as from your room, so you can eat breakfast taking in river life which no matter what weather Glasgow throws at us is truly stunning.
As we are a 10 minute walk along the river to the centre of town, Central Station and St Enochs Subway one way and the SECC, Hydro and Science Centre the other, you really can access all that Glasgow has to offer easily whether that is museums, theatres, shopping, events or the trendy West End.
Springfield Quay with its cinema, bowling and restaurants is a 5min walk away too.
Special rates for Theatre Digs available please ask. We are really convenient for the Citizens, Kings and Tron Theatre.
Please note this is a family flat and I have a young daughter who is likely to charm you silly. But that does also mean we can be busy with comings and goings and that while the flat is clean there are usually a number of toys about the place.
Once guests check in they are free to come and go as they please. They are welcome to use the kitchen and living room to make themselves at home. There's plenty space reserved in the fridge, too should you need it.
Other amenities include wifi, TV/DVD, washing machine, tumble dryer, towels, hairdryer and Arbonne toiletries.
Check and Out is flexible - we try to accommodate our guests travel arrangements whenever possible. Luggage can be left and keys picked up even if the room isn't ready.
Breakfast basics like toast, cereal, juice, tea, and coffee (instant and the good strong Cuban stuff) are provided for you to help yourself to in the morning. As are some toiletries, towels, an adaptor plug and a hair dryer.
We now have a TV in the room which is connected to free OnDemand services like BBC iPlayer. You can also use your own subscriptions to services such as Netflix, or liaise with me about pay-per-use options.
A little mutual respect goes a long way - I'm very open to sharing our communal space with you but please tidy up after yourselves. There is no smoking in the property or on the balcony. Also, please don’t put damp towels on the chair in the room, there are hooks on the back of the door. I recycle as much as possible and try to leave outside shoes at the door. I have a young daughter myself so have no problem with accommodating infants or kids and in some instances can help with cots or ready beds so please ask.
I enjoy chatting to my guests. I've lived in Glasgow 10 years and love it, so am more than able to give you top tips on where to go and how best to spend your time in Glasgow. Please note I have a young daughter who also likes to interact with our guests and charm them silly.
I'm a relaxed outgoing person who loves travelling and discovering new cultures. I think the best way is to mix with the locals as much as possible, which is why I think airbnb is a great idea. I'm currently living in Glasgow but lived in London for 10 years before that and love both cities equally but for different reasons.
5 things I can't live without - sun, dancing, a good book, good friends and more sun ;)
and now there is a number 6: my gorgeous daughter ;)
