Candace is an advocate for a well-known national, organization that helps formerly homeless young adults transition into the workforce. Her role is to assist these individuals with housing while they attend school away from their families. When motel/hotel vouchers became scarce, Candace signed up for Airbnb. Not for herself, but for her clients. As an alternative to the vouchers. Candace lives and works in the Boston Area. The first individual she booked an Airbnb reservation for was Destiny at my place for one week. However, she never bothered to explain this to Destiny. So Destiny was naturally upset and confused. I never hung up on her. I never made any racially inappropriate comments. In fact, Candace thanked me for being so understanding of the situation. She told me that she was going to find a motel for Destiny because Destiny did not understand Airbnb and did not feel comfortable staying in a stranger's home.
Maybe Candace wrote such a lie-filled review because she realized her organization would have to to pay the full amount of the reservation AND the motel bill?
