Are you looking for a place that is more than just an apartment or condo? A place that has a community feel to it and is basically a "bring your clothes and toiletries and we have the rest covered" type of place? If so, then you have found your home while you are in San Pedro! Whether nightly, weekly or monthly rentals - I got you covered with this Gold Standard property!

The property is a gated community with just 6 rentals and an on site shared laundry facility, each unit has it's own back balcony with chairs and a chair hammock, and access to the 1st floor shared guest patio that features a grill, couch and chairs, bluetooth speaker, gourmet grill, lighting and fan, yoga mats - a great place to relax!

Each self catering unit is set up with your comfort and usability in mind! The kitchen is fully outfitted to cook a 4 course meal if you like, TV's with streaming stick hook up in both the living and bedroom, and endless hot showers with an on demand hot water heater! In the bedroom you will find ample closet space and an imported King sized Serta mattress, extra pillows, and access to the back balcony that has a screen door for those days when you prefer a breeze to the air conditioner that's located in the bedroom for maximum sleeping comfort!

At the front gate you will find the monthly community calendar with organized activities that all my guests are welcome to join in, and I also have a Whats app group set up so that we can all communicate with each other (this is optional) and how I communicate with everyone here without having to send out 6 different messages. These activities are on different days of the week, and also at different times so that even those that need to work can still attend activities outside of working hours. I do my best to keep these activities free or low cost so that everyone can stay on budget. A recent guest said that staying with me "is kind of like coming to camp with new friends and fun activities - but for adults!"

Although we are close to everything, we are tucked back into a residential neighborhood that is fairly quiet and the ocean is a 2 minute stroll from your front door. Our neighborhood is safe and you will feel comfortable walking around no matter if it is day or night. We have a great Thai restaurant next door as well as other bars and restaurants close by in walking distance. We are located near the airstrip, However, we are at the sweet spot where the planes have either already taken off or are coasting in for their landing, so it is pretty quiet, considering.

*Please note that we are not on the beach - especially when you are reviewing the property "Location" category after your stay. We work really hard to do everything we can to ensure that all our reviews are 5 stars in all categories in order to keep our Superhost rating; but we cannot change our location on the island. If you are looking for a property on the beach in order to give a 5 * rating in this category, we are happy to recommend other properties that will make your stay a 5 star in all categories rated. We know that vacation time and money are precious! I'm Lisa, I first visited Belize in 2016 and fell in love with the feel of the country of Belize. Every region has it's own magic, but I found mine on Ambergris Caye in San Pedro. The people are the friendliest that you will find anywhere and will make you feel welcome!

I am not just an Abnb host that has an extra bedroom or unit to rent out and want to make a few extra bucks. Belize Tropical Dream Villas is a unique property with an invested and hospitality trained owner. This property and the guests that stay with me are the heart of my business!

My life dreams and goals have included being near the ocean for years now and I have the heart for hospitality. After getting dual degrees in Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts, I began looking for a place to make my dream a reality!

Belize met my 5 criteria:
1. Close to the ocean

3. Easy currency conversion
4. Affordable and fairly quick for our guests to get to
5. Affordable to purchase inside our means

When the opportunity was presented to be able to purchase an apartment building in my favorite city - I decided to make a leap of faith and catch my dream!
