A charming rustic house in an old mill town in the middle of beautiful Dyrehaven, close to Copenhagen city.
A laid back place with wood burning stove, bike paths everywhere, a beautiful forest full of paths and deer and close to the ocean.
This is a small home for either a family who wants to spend time together doing simple things or nature-interested people who want to explore the woods, the plant and animal life in the area.
The coast line with mulitiple beaches is 1.5 km through the woods. There is the Queens hunting lodge, a tiny'castle' that has just gained a place on the UNESCO heritage list.
There is so much charm, greenery and accessibility it is hard to believe that in a car and in 15 minutes you can be in copenhage, By bike 45 fast minutes or by a combination of train and bike _ all possibilities into the cafe and museum life of beautiful copenhagen.
The house is bohemian with lots of books, hand made furniture, mismatched chairs,- you get the picture,.
All in all- the best of both worlds, the bustling city and the peaceful house to lay back in.
There are two bedrooms, each with a double bed, there is also a day bed in the little living room that can accomodate an extra person.
The whole house is what you get when available.

I am an artist who can be very helpful or very hands off, as you prefer.
I am an american visual artist and lover of nature that has the best of all worlds here in this small artists village in an old mill town. i have lived most of my adult life in denmark where i have raised two kids, one of whom still lives at home.
I love to hike, run, bike and canoe and all of these are everyday possibilities here in raadvad. ( canoes and bikes available with rental)
my studio is in the city proper where i work daily and have the luxury of coming home to peaceful nature, starry nights and cosy evenings by the wood-burning stove.
i am sociable and like meeting new people and the opportunities it opens for learning about new places, ideas etc.i can be helpful with info regarding the area and it's possibilities.
