Flat is in the heart of Old Town, Vilnius, very close to theatres, clubs, cafes, Philharmonic, Jewish Cultural Center and Choral Synagogue, shopping, transport, bus and train station 15 minutes walk. Situated in the former Jewish ghetto. Not on the street, opens onto two courtyards, so quiet. Small kitchen, cozy, for one person but can easily accommodate couples. No (URL HIDDEN) access.and nice internet cafe/restaurant two blocks away, as is a big mini-market. Fine library, radio, no TV. For first morning, some fruit, coffee, rolls, provided. Landlord (me) in flat below for orientation if necessary, and cultural suggestions -- I am a writer and former professor at Vilnius University. Minimum three nights. Price negotiable for longer stays. Seasonal price may vary because in Winter (and the colder months) the utilities can be very high.
Two to three days advanced notice is essential.
Basically, Guests have access to Old Town, Vilnius, since flat is the the heart of Old Town.

When they arrive, if possible, I can orient guests through the immediate area. Other than that, I respect their privacy, but assist them with questions if they have any throughout their stay.
No smoking. No candles or incense. No VERY spicy cooking. Reasonably quiet. No pets. I can do some wash for guests on a weekly basis.

In Brazil I was a Senior Fulbright researcher in African-Brazilian studies in Salvador, Bahia; and in Vilnius an Associate Fulbright Professor in English at Vilnius University. I have lived in Vilnius for 16 years.
