Honestly, I do not understand the response of the host: so much noise for nothing. I write this long answer to defend myself from the lies contained in this review. For those who, like me, do not exercise a real business, the Italian law, for tax purposes, requires the signing of a contract for short leases that do not exceed 30 days (Decree Law No. 50 of 2017). I have not advised on AIRBNB because the signature does not involve any additional burden for the guest, it is only necessary for me, to deliver the contracts to the accountant for the reporting of income. In any case we never and I stress never forced anyone to sign the contract and when it happened to me a refusal (and this is the second case) I let it run. We never told the host that he should have gone if he had not signed, on the contrary, he was asked to keep the contract (not yet signed) during the entire stay, read it quietly and, if it was agreed, leave it signed at check-out time. Instead, he preferred signing right away and then pulling out the problem with Airbnb messaging. Moreover, after he again expressed his discomfort, we proposed to tear the contract in front of him. So the review reports a real lie in this sense, I never dreamed of sending away anyone who did not want to sign the contract or pay the tourist tax or for other reasons, it is not my interest: go read the other reviews I've received and see if anyone has ever raised a problem like that. So the problem does not exist. It is really difficult for me to understand what went on in this person's head to make a review like that.
