The perfect surfer destination in Cape Town, with everything you need to work while you're there.
We set up the apartment to be what we look for when using AirBnb - A space that is close to the surf and beach, away from the crowds, neat, relaxing but also has everything you need to keep up with work while traveling.
You can literally walk across the road from the complex and be on a surfing beach - there's a surfboard in the garage if you'd like to try. Or, head 1.5km down the road to what is possibly the worlds best place to learn to surf (Muizenberg) and sign up for lessons with one of the many great surf schools there, where you can also rent your choice of equipment. If you're a more advanced surfer, there are plenty of spots all around the cape peninsula - for all skill levels. Most are within 5-40 minutes' drive.
There's a dedicated workspace in the second bedroom with ergonomic chair,
external screen, as well as good internet connectivity throughout the house.
Other conveniences you might need - coffee percolator, washer/dryer, iron, etc. and a garage for 1 Vehicle.
There's an optional additional cleaning service if you like, as often as you need. We can also arrange a book-keeping service for you if you hate admin as much as we do :)
The apartment is in a secure village with multiple swimming pools and is not far from the rest of Cape Town's fun and action: wine-tasting, table mountain national park, amazing food & restaurants, and all-round some of the most glorious sights in the world - I'm not kidding!
This is our Cape Town home and we love it, we hope you will too.

My partner and I are mostly outside of Cape Town but have many friends and family members who can help you navigate your way around town.
Winter & Spring (May-August) is the best time to surf in Muizenberg, as the storms bring the swell and the NW wind makes for perfect off-shore conditions. While it can get quite cold it is more temperate than Gauteng, for example, and as it is rain season for Cape Town, it is an exquisite time to explore the mountains and national parks. Nothing beats the smell of a fynbos garden just after a fresh rain.
Don't worry, we've got electric blankets, heater and a 2-in-1 washer/dryer so you can do your own washing and drying, regardless of the weather.
