This 1925-built classic Berlin "Altbau" apartment has high ceilings and original parquet floors in its three large bedrooms. It has just been extensively renovated to create a brand new modern open plan kitchen/living/dining space, two new bathrooms plus a separate toilet, a laundry space with new Miele washing machine plus dryer and many cupboards.
The apartment is 110m2 and is 6 steps above outside ground level.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all pots and pans, crockery and cutlery and other utensils, as well as a food processor, Nespresso machine, toaster, juicer, kettle, tea pot and baking dishes. There is a dinner set for 12 people. The stove is gas, and there is a Miele dishwasher, and an oven and microwave. There are English versions of all appliance manuals.
Each of the three bedrooms has a lock on the bedroom door.
Each bedroom has a large window which has an outside wooden roller blind which can be operated from inside.
Each bedroom has a flat-screen TV mounted on the wall and an electric table fan.
The apartment is equipped with new towels, face cloths, bathmats and sheets, and pillows and duvets. All wardrobes have coathangers.
There is no bathtub in the apartment. Both bathrooms have large walk-in showers.
There are clothes racks for drying washing if you don't always want to use the dryer. There is an ironing board and an iron, and a Dyson vacuum cleaner.
A step ladder and a tall ladder are kept in the apartment for accessing the high cupboards.
In addition to the proper beds and the sofa bed, a single-size blow-up Aerobed and a double-size Aerobed are also kept in the apartment for temporary guests.
- Mattress protectors to be used on beds underneath the fitted sheet at all times.
