We fell in love with the Airbnb experience exploring different parts of Canada meeting and engaging with so many interesting hosts. So we found ourselves most attracted to Nova Scotia so much so we decided to relocate here purchase a unique house with European flare. We holidayed in many locations in Nova Scotia and found the best place to conveniently explore from was here in Port Wallace, Dartmouth? Why? Because its so central and quick to everything. First off its 15min drive from the airport, then, from here its fantastic base to explore from. 12 min drive to scenic short ferry ride across to the vibrant Halifax Harbour Front. Or drive into Halifax in just 20 mins. The options are endless... Scout down to renowned Lawrence Town for surfing, hiking, biking and tea houses only 20 mins away. Endless day trips to Peggies Cove, Wine tasting Annapolis Valley, Eagle watching etc. are so very convenient from our location as we are connected to quick access to the highways. Could it be any better? Well yes it gets better, our neighborhood is fabulous for times when you want to stay a little closer to home there are gems so close by including - 3min drive away Mic Mac Bar and Grill their food is mouth watering delicious and next door is a unique Kraft Brewery, 9 Locks Brewery Company, they offer so many refreshing varieties and wow free samples, then there is Shubie Park with its historic lock system, with beautiful walkways, hiking trails, small low keyed beach all so relaxing. We spotted glorious Eagles nesting in the area the other day. Shopping is convenient about 7 min drive to Dartmouth Crossing with many known Box stores intermixed with the more unique boutique stores.

Ingrid and I love to travel Europe and Canada. We found ourselves frequently holidaying in Nova Scotia and we fell in love with this province so much so we recently purchased a home and relocated to Nova Scotia. Having stayed at many different locations in Nova Scotia we found the most convenient location for us was Port Wallus area in Dartmouth. This location is just so convenient to explore this beautiful Province from. Its a quick 12 min drive to where the Ferry sails from a jump across to the vibrant Harbour Front in Halifax, or drive to Halifax in 20 mins. Renowned Lawencetown, known for surfing, hiking, biking and tea shops on the ocean is 20 mins away. What we love about our homes location is it works great as a base to go on the many wonderful day trips since we are next to highway access taking you to Annapolis Valley for wine tasting, the post card perfect Peggies Cove, and all types of outdoor adventure. The airport is 15 minutes away.
Ingrid and I love to cook, bicycle, explore the outdoor and we so enjoy to meet new people and travelers. Ingrid moved from Germany to Canada 10 years ago and finds Nova Scotia has a European familiarity to it we both so enjoy to explore. The house we chose has a unique European style with brick archways.
