As I work long hours, you'll most likely have the place to yourself, but will be always available to my guests via Airbnb app, iMessage, Whatsap/Viber, etc. Happy to answer any questions and provide recommendations.
FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions):
(1) Can you provide detailed directions to your apartment from La Guardia? JFK? Newark?
> Of course, just ask before or after booking.
(2) Can I check in really late at night?
> Absolutely, check-in is available anytime after 2PM and as it's a self-check in (via key lock box outside the apartment) you're free to check in whenever.
(3) Can I drop off my bags before check-in time or after check out time?
> Indeed you can, however I ask that you *only* stop in and take or leave your baggage in a designated (and safe!) area to ensure the cleanliness for the next guest. Unfortunately, this also means the use of bathroom, kitchen, etc.
Smoking only allowed on the rooftop.
Coming from the small town of Sandanski, Bulgaria (15 minutes from the border with Greece), I'm fortunate to travel and meet people different from myself. I currently live in New York City, Chinatown to be exact. Some of my favorite travels include the Provence region, Malta, Tel Aviv, Portugal, Tenerife, Petra, Cartagena, Mexico City, Lombardy region, Istanbul, and the Halkidiki peninsula.
In past 12 months, I've been fortunate to visit: Italy (Milan, Naples, Palermo, Genoa, Bologna, Venice), Colombia (Cartagena), Cuba (Havana), Barbados, Mexico (Mexico City, Oaxaca), Sweden (Stockholm), Norway (Oslo), Denmark (Copenhagen), Germany (Hamburg, Cologne, Berlin, Dusseldorf, Bonn), Peru (Lima), Portugal (Lisbon, Lagos), Puerto Rico (San Juan, Vieques), Netherlands (Eindhoven), Canada (Mont-Tremblant, Montreal). Coming up: Rome, Florence, and Thailand.
I strive to balance between popular/crowded destinations and lesser-visited destinations. Whilst exploring new lands, you'll likely find me walking the streets in the early morning, people watching at a cafe with an espresso in hand, or eating at a family-operated restaurant.
A bit about me... I began working at age 13; I have an affinity for companies in the "dream" stage and long-term commerce, which inspires my ambition to eventually lead my own ventures. I'm always eager to speak with passionate individuals about their profession, especially if it's one that I'm not too familiar with. My current occupation is a merchant banker (growth consulting + investment banking) for medical/surgical technology startups and multinational companies in the United States and Europe.
Family, integrity, and loyalty are most important to me.
