Our Place is located in a beautiful part of Brooklyn named Ditmas Park. It is the most diverse neighborhood in the USA. Our place offers large rooms and high ceilings. It is a green and quiet neighborhood with plenty restaurants and bars, only 2 min away from the express train subway station.
I live in Ditmas Park and I love it.
The main street in my neighborhood is Cortelyou Road, all businesses and venues are located here. The Am New York, New York Times and other magazines named Ditmas Park one of the best places for food in New York, moreover is one of the most diverse neighborhood in USA.
Places to visit, I will name few but there is plenty of them.... The Castello Plan, The Farm on Adderlley, Lea's, Cafe Madeline, Cafe Quatra. Chinese, Japanese, Tibetian, Italian, Thai, cuisine is waiting for you ;-)
I hope you know that you will be only few blocks from Prospect Park a lovely place if you love running, fresh air. Prospect Park Zoo. Botanical Garden. All near you.
That's why I love Ditmas Park.
When you are visiting the city that never sleeps don't try to run everywhere.
Have a plan for the day do certain things in certain areas of the town.
Traveling from one part of the town to another may be exhausting. Try to avoid taxi they get stuck in traffic and uber may overcharge you as well.
Use the subway, the easiest and quickest way to get around. When you arrive get yourself a subway map at the nearest train station, ask at the information window they usually have one. Avoid rush hours in subway such as 7-8:30 am & 4:30-6pm.
Get yourself Groupon app on your smart device, to save $. You will find a lot of discounts on this app.
