Angel's View sits 30 feet above the Cheticamp River providing a panoramic view of the Highland National Park. The 10 foot bay window allows this awesome view from inside the cabin too! Furnishings are updated and comfy to ensure your stay is memorable.
This is our summer hide out but we love the idea of sharing it with guest when we are away. Sitting 300 feet off the road and adjacent to a labyrinth of trails along the river and forest allows for soft adventure with the charming community of Cheticamp five minutes away.
The cabin has all the comforts you will need to relax with your favorite beverage or book. There is satellite TV to keep you informed or catch your favorite show. There is a local phone in the cabin as well. Wifi is pending but available close by.
The kitchen is small but seats four and has all the necessary appliances you will need.
The bedrooms are a queen room and a single room with two beds, however one bed is only suitable for person less than 5'3". Fine for a short adult or a child.
The yard has a picnic table, Grill, Swing seats, benches and chairs. In the shed is rubber boots, paddles for the canoe, life jackets and stored seating.
This location is a days trip to all places in Cape breton so no need to pack up and move to visit Margaree, Ingonish, Baddeck, or Sydney. We drive to Ingonish for lunch or dinner several times a week. It is an excellent way to look for moose and bears too.
I have been hosting my ocean property for 20 years. I love sharing this spot with couples and their dog. I travel with my dogs too and know the importance of satisfying both. I have made friends that have lasted decades with some guest. I live near by and often get to meet guest on the beach.
I enjoy the outdoors, mountains, valleys, and beaches. I enjoy all genres if music and most all flavors of cuisine. I am married with one son and a grand daughter. I have a precious Britany dog and a tiny Chihuahua. I am an ac=vid knitter, weaver, and an artist. I live on the East Coast beach and spend my summers in Cape Breton Nova Scotia.
