The cabin is situated just under the tree line in Osmarka, Gjemnes. There is a wonderful view to the Romsdal mountains far away and to the two lakes Fosterlaagen and Osvatnet. 35 minutes drive from Molde and about one hour and 10 minutes from Kristiansund.
The cabin is what I would call '"a typical modest Norwegian cabin". There is no Tv and no Internet so you can really enjoy a peaceful and quiet holiday. You can of course bring a portable router if you like. There is a radio so you can listen to the news from back home. The cabin is our private holiday home where we go to relax, go mountain hiking, skiing, fishing or picking wild berries. We mostly use the cabin from August - May. We then thought someone else could get the opportunity to use it during summer.
The cabin has a well equipped kitchen with electric cooker, small coffee maker, small fridge, freezer and what els you need to make a nice meal. There is warm and cold running water. Both in the kitchen and in the bathroom. The water comes from a 100 meters deep drilled well and you can of course drink it. You do the washing up by hand.
The living room has a large dining table and a comfy sofa in front of the fireplace. Logs for the fireplace you'll find in the shed at the terrace.
There are two bedrooms with double beds which are a bit smaller than normal. The loft is quite large, but a grownup can't stand upright there. It is a perfect place for children to play and there are four good mattresses on the floor.
In the bathroom you find a shower cabinet, water toilet and a sink. There is also the washing machine. You will be provided with towels, toilet paper, hairdryer and shampoo.
Two terraces. Garden furniture and a big fire pan

I will answer your question as best as I can and will try to make your stay as memorable as possible.
Just take care and cherish the house.
Don't use open fire anywhere. It's prohibited during spring and summer. You may use the fire pan, but don't leave it unattended.
Take your litter with you and put it in the big bin at the main road.
I am a retired teacher and live together wiith my husband on a very nice place in the countryside on the North West coast of Norway. I like outdoor life and as we live on a former small sized farm there are allways lot of things to do. We both find it interesting to meet new people from different parts of the world. We have been hosting guest from many countries, but now is the first time you find me on Airbnb. We will do our best to make your stay with us as memorable as possible.
