This airbnb was amazing, would absolutely recommend to anyone with a long layover in Hangzhou. I booked it last minute on the day of at around 5 PM. 老俞 still got back to me within 2 minutes, which was a huge relief. Shifeng (the airbnb co- host) drove to the airport to pick me up, which was so great. He went above and beyond to help me with my suitcase, then to take me to see a nearby lake, and then get food!!! My layover was 30 hours, and the room was booked for the next day. However these awesome, awesome hosts were ok with me staying a little past the check out time to leave just a little before the next guests were scheduled to arrive. And then Shifeng's even mother made me brunch since I was staying longer. SUCH HOSPITALITY, I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT.
It isn't clear in the pictures, but the rooms are huge. There are two of them plus a private bathroom. Wifi, hot water boiler, TV's in each room (I didn't use them but there appeared to be a great selection of Chinese movies). The beds are both queen-sized; air-conditioning works great. Free cookies and water. Also some ramen if you pay 2 yuan.
The place is close to the airport (woot) but according to Shifeng, you'd want to go elsewhere to find good eats.
