Reminiscent of resplendent African safaris in the early 20th century, our two tented villas provide an elegant and romantic ambience allowing you to experience the surrounding tropical forest in comfort. The tent is a spacious 5 x 7m, with a vaulted ceiling, and includes an adjoining semi-outdoor bathroom and deck. Wake up to a symphony of bird songs and the occasional view of monkeys in the treetops. Later, participate in a ritual water purification ceremony at the sacred water springs.
Each tented villa has an array of designer features, including armoire and fully stocked mini-bar designed as steamer trunks (see photos). Begin your day with a sumptuous breakfast choosing from an array of Balinese, Indonesian, and western dishes prepared by our in-house chef. Room service is available and meals can be eaten on your own elevated deck looking out on the forest. At the end of the day, tuck yourself into a firm king-size bed with goose down pillows. Both tented villas are part of our estate that includes five villas plus our house, all of which are separated by landscaped gardens and forest for maximum privacy. All buildings on site have been designed, built, and managed to be compliant to the Earth Check and Green Globe sustainability standards.
Our guests have full access to the 20m natural swimming pool with unique bio-filter; pool water is cleansed using ecological processes including native fish and aquatic plants. The pool also has a three-meter high waterfall that besides being great fun, increases dissolved oxygen in the pool necessary for the bio-filter. Come prepared to swim with the fishes. We also have a restaurant specializing in combining the best aspects of Indonesian, Thai, and Indian cuisines.

I love to travel and recently returned from a great trip to New Zealand and Australia. For me, it's exciting seeing new places, but also I love Bali and enjoy sharing the island's enchanting culture and beautiful places with our guests. I grew up in the hustle bustle of Jakarta, and after more than six years in Bali, I love the laid back lifestyle here.
My husband has worked as a tropical forest ecologist for 30 years and has helped both rural communities and forest industries to sustainably manage their natural resources and conserve vast intact tropical forests. Last year, we decided to build a small eco-resort in Bali that includes our two tented villas and three bungalows, along with our house. We're committed to reducing our environmental and social impacts; and the design, construction, and operation of our resort is fully compliant to Earth Check and Green Globe sustainability standards.
