The beautiful Field Row is the owners' much loved second home which has been converted from a row of three farm worker's cottages into one stunning and spacious cottage. Set in the pretty, peaceful village of Field Dalling, everything about this cottage has a 'wow' factor. Field Row has many original features seamlessly blended with contemporary fixtures and fittings, including an amazing galleried landing overlooking the living and kitchen/breakfast room, the focal point being the enormous inglenook fireplace and double height vaulted ceiling.
From the moment you arrive at the property and set foot inside the traditional Norfolk cottage style entrance hall you cannot help but feel relaxed. There is a second living room leading off the entrance hall, which is stylishly decorated and furnished and has many original beams, a log burner with a fabulous surround, cottage-style windows with shutters and oak flooring. You can access two of the bedrooms from this living area via the cupboard stairs (one of three staircases in the cottage).
All of the bedrooms have high vaulted ceilings. The airy double bedroom, comfy armchair and funky mirror lead to a large 'Jack and Jill' bathroom with separate shower, and follows through to the delightful twin bedroom, with an additional trundle bed, and is ideal for children. This part of the house is perfect for separate family accommodation. The master bedroom is gorgeous and has a king size bed with built-in bedside storage, en-suite bathroom and windows overlooking the gardens. This room is accessed via the stairs from the main living area, through a door on the galleried landing.
The open plan living area is the real hub of the home and a fantastic room for all the family to spend time together. The cool contemporary feel of the furnishings mixed with the warmth from the beams and oak flooring is just lovely. All the windows in the living area have hand crafted shutters and look out onto the mature cottage gardens.The bright hand-built kitchen has shaker style fitted units, a double Belfast sink, dishwasher, open plan shelving and Aga. There is a large farmhouse table with seating for up to ten people, ideal for large family meals. Just off the kitchen is a utility room with sink unit and washing facilities and downstairs cloakroom.
At the front of the cottage there are pretty cottage-style borders, climbing roses and lawn areas to enjoy, as well as a covered decked area. Just beyond there is a large enclosed lawned area of approximately half an acre, with mature silver birch trees and a garden swing - an area perfect for ball games and for children to run around and play.

There is a three seater sofa and 'ercol' windsor chair, TV with Freesat, Bluray DVD player. Windows with shutters overlook the cottage gardens and there is a beautiful third oak turning staircase that lead up to the mezzanine study area with galleried landing and the master bedroom.
The oak flooring continues through to the kitchen/dining area with large oak table and eight shaker style chairs. The table seats upto ten people, ideal for entertaining. The hand built kitchen has a wonderful contemporary feel combined with farmhouse style units and open-shelving. There is a double ceramic belfast sink with mixer tap, Aga (oil fired), dishwasher and fridge freezer.
At the rear of the kitchen is a handy utility room with ceramic sink. mixer tap and combined washer/dryer and microwave. A door leads directly onto the garden with plenty of space for boot storage and a door to the cloakroom.

A four piece suite comprising pedestal was hand basin with mirror, towel rail, ceramic bath and corner shower cubicle. There is a window with shutters and vaulted ceiling with lovely exposed beams.
A fabulous room for children with comfy full-size twin beds (one with truckle - an additional full-size pull out bed beneath). There is a window overlooking the garden and turning staircase leading down to the entrance hall. For younger children there is a specially designed hatch which can drop down over the staircase for additional safety.
At the front of the Cottage there are pretty flower borders and climbing roses, typically 'cottage-style' and lawn areas to enjoy and a covered decked area.

There is a shingled parking area at the entrance to the cottage, suitable for 2/3 vehicles.
