Welcome to the Little Sweet Shack located just off the Sea to Sky Highway yet in a respectful residential neighborhood. You'll enjoy 360 degree mountain views, a short walk to several great restaurants and pubs, grocery store, liquor store and shopping. Your a 5 min walk from hiking and biking trails. A short drive to the ocean. A 40 min drive to Whistler, 50 min drive to Vancouver and if your here to snowmobile your access to great trails is 30 min.
This is a free standing home with 2 levels. On the main floor you will find a bedroom with a queen bed, a 2nd living room with a queen sofa bed with an electric fire place, laundry closet, and storage closet. Up a flight of stairs is an open concept living/dining/kitchen with a built in desk for those of you that can't leave your lap top at home. Upper deck with BBQ and seating area for morning coffee. The main bedroom faces south, shade in the morning with full sun in the afternoon. The bathroom has a jacuzzi tub w/shower and heated tile floor. You will have 2 off street parking spaces directly in front of the guesthouse. The backyard is very private with high hedge along the property line, a new interlocking block deck with outdoor dining area. The fire pit is located in the backyard with seating and ready for enjoyment when the fire band is lifted. Along the side of the house we will have an outdoor bike washing station for those that are coming to enjoy our incredible trails. Your bikes can be stored in the main level hallway when cleaned and dry.
The entire guesthouse with the exception of the garage space. The garage is a is self contained space and used as a home office. We live in the house house next door, available if you have questions but otherwise we offer you full privacy and leave you to enjoy your space.

We live in a quiet neighbourhood and ask that you visit with our neighbours privacy in mind, no parties, when using outdoor space, whether dining in the backyard or sitting around the fire to respect others.
Pets - Please contact me prior to booking to review pet criteria. We will allow 1 dog, the dog must be well behaved and friendly, must be small to medium in size. If the dog is left in the guest house unattended you must keep the dog in a kennel that you have brought with you. Bring your own dog dishes and dog bed. The dog is not allowed on the couches or the beds. We ask that bedroom doors remain closed to ensure no furniture napping. No soiling in the house, any accidents must be reported immediately for immediate cleaning by the dog owner. Any damages caused by the dog to the furniture or contents of the home will be the responsibility of the pet owner to replace at market value. All area rugs in the house are free of pet stains, any stains caused by dog accidents will be cause for full replacement. You are free to request we remove any area rugs to avoid accidents. We do have a leash bylaw, you will be responsible for any issues regarding your pet. You must pick up the poop both on the guest house property, adjacent properties or in our lovely trails. If you can abide by our pet rules then your pup is welcome. There are beautiful trails just a few minutes away where most dogs run off lease, be advised that wildlife (bears, coyotes, cougars, eagles ) may be present in the forested areas.
