This tastefully furnished 3-bedroom apartment is located in Anguillara Sabazia, on the first floor of the country house, nestled on a hilltop with endless views of the relaxing Roman countryside.
It offers accommodation for 5 guests with its large, livable and equipped kitchen, comfortable living/dining area and a study. There are three bedrooms of different sizes; 1 with a ¾ bed and 2 with king size beds and balconies of which 1 has an ensuite bathroom. Wifi is available.
The country house is 7km from Anguillara on lake Bracciano, visible and only metres from the main road leading to Rome, less than 30km away. It’s on 3 floors; the ground floor has 2 apartments occupied by our lovely long term Italian tenants: Carlo in number 2 and Viviana in number 3. We live in the loft on the top floor and for you we have prepared an elegant apartment on the first floor with comfort and relaxation in mind. Rest in the spacious open plan lounge/dining room with its adjacent study, however if you are passionate about cooking like Rita is, then you will love the livable kitchen. All the bedrooms have comfortable beds and big wardrobes. There are two bathrooms, both have showers, whilst the ensuite also has a bath tub. Its proximity to Rome (approx. 30km), Lake Bracciano (approx. 7km), Fiumicino airport (approx. 40km), and many surrounding attractions just to name a few below, make of this short term rental the ideal location for those wishing to explore whilst returning to a peaceful setting.
The balconies on all sides of the house offer endless views of the fields, with all their colourful changes as the seasons progress. From here sit and enjoy spectacular sunsets too.
The garden which warmly embraces the house is relaxing and peaceful with birdlife and abundant fruit trees. In June and July help yourselves to the apricots and plums which are plentiful, before Rita gets busy making awesome jams! There is a shady thatched gazebo, shared by all, where one can have a sundowner, tea or a meal and enjoy the cool breeze

Although Italian, we grew up and met in Zambia where our parents had immigrated to in the 50s. This is where we spent most of our youth, married and had a beautiful daughter Chiara, before moving to Zimbabwe and finally Australia, which we now call home.
We never really lived in Italy for long periods of time but have recently, happily retired from running our own business in logistics and tourism and now spend most of our time in Italy.
As you may have guessed from our photo we love spending a lot of time in the kitchen: drinking coffee, tea, eating good food accompanied by lovely local wine. You’ll find us wondering around local farmer’s markets, discovering the surrounding area and its culture and never missing the many country fetes with their romantic Italian music, that take place all summer long.
