Be seduced by the charms of Bluehaven, nestled in a rain forest canopy. Bush walkers home base, a travelers place of rest, come enjoy a dream gateway to the real Australia. Bush, beaches , sunshine or rain, you'll be at home in Bluehaven.
- I treasure the peace and privacy of my neighbours. I ask that you please respect the same, as I know they will respect yours. I am leaving my home for you to visit, to make your own for your stay so please look after it as if it were yours. My loftbedroom is my only private space in this world, so peek if you will, but this is a no go zone, and your compliance with this wish will be much appreciated.
For obvious reasons with cork floors no high heels thanks. Clean footwear is ok inside but please no shoes or dirty feet on carpets. Our dirt up here is Red and does stain. I fully recommend thick socks or slippers if you have room for them as it gets cool up here at night. Your vigilance with the fireplace is in everyone's best interests. Only burn the fire with the door closed for your own safety, the reverse cycle air con through out every room of the house does a great job if the fire is not enough for your comfort.
I trust that all will be good, and I'm sure you will always want to return to Bluehaven, such a wonderful place of peace and beauty. Cheers from Ian.
I'm a Queenslander who feels at home in the bush and on the beach. If you're looking for me, you'll find me slowing down to enjoy simple things like a mountain view, the shade beside a river, or an ocean swim or surf. I like a lazy afternoon conversation and a quiet night at home with a fire lit.
I bush walk regularly in our local amazing national parks, and love to body surf at the wonderful surf breaks down on the coast.
My home is my haven, its a relaxed and amazingly tranquil and peaceful place, and I hope and wish that you find some of the same to enjoy, and take some of it home when you leave.
Cheers from Ian.
