Cosy artist's home on a quiet street in Rotterdam! Spread over two floors, the apartment is simple but comfortable, offering everything you need. South of the river, the city is easily reached either over the famous Erasmus bridge or through the monumental bicycle/pedestrian tunnel. By bike you can reach the city center within 15 mins, by bus it takes approx 20 mins. The area is multicultural and inhabited by many artists, with a grocery store, a couple of galleries and public transport nearby.
The apartment is located on the second floor, note that some rather steep stairs have to be climbed! It is spread out over two levels, the first level containing the bright kitchen/dining room, simple bathroom with separate toilet, and my atelier. The top floor is a charming space with high ceilings and exposed wooden beams. There you will find the living room and balcony, as well as the bedroom.
The kitchen is equipped with all necessary amenities, a stove and oven, fridge, and plenty of pots and pans, plates, cups and glasses. Tea and coffee are free to use, as well as the fresh herbs in the window sill. The dining table seats four people comfortably and has a lovely view over the church square behind the house. The small bathroom is equipped with a washbasin and shower, it's basic but it does the trick! Towels can be found on the shelf.
The living room is bright and spacious. I'm an avid reader and I encourage you to enjoy my books as much as I do. There is a record player for listening sessions, and a balcony to get some fresh air. The bedroom is cosy, and equipped with a queen sized bed and a mosquito net.
You are very welcome to use all the spaces in the apartment, except for my atelier which is located on the first floor. You are welcome to peek through the glass door, however I would ask for you to respect my atelier as my private work space, which I prefer to leave untouched. Thank you for being considerate!
