Hi there and welcome to our home in Accra.
We are two 30-something professionals working in Ghana. We can offer you a peaceful, simple, easy access and chilled out space for your stay.
Clean, comfortable and affordable for a single traveller.
John is a chef so if time allows we can offer meals at an additional cost.
We also include filtered drinking water for you.
We are in East Legon, it's very easy to get to central Accra but this area has everything you'll need. We don't have AC but there is a nice breeze that runs through the house when the windows are open and there's a fan in your room.
There is a big single bed for you and the room has all you will need.
We are the 2nd floor of a 3-storey apartment.
It's a very safe area of Accra.
You are free to hang out in the lounge (Stacey usually works from here if she is home), use the kitchen, chill on the small balcony. Please ensure you clean up after yourself in the shared areas.

We are both pretty busy with our jobs. John works shifts as a chef and Stacey is a journalist often working from home or on assignment somewhere. Either one of us will be available to answer questions and help you out when needed but this stay is probably best for fairly independent people. If our schedules allow and you like, we are happy to have meals/drinks together and show you around!
Importantly, we will respect your space and privacy so if you are cool to do your own thing, so are we :)
In Ghana sometimes the power will go out, it's a bummer but it's life. It usually doesn't last too long though. When this happens we have solar lights you can use. Likewise the water tank might empty when you are here we will fill it ASAP but we have a big bucket as a reserve.
Sometimes the water pressure is low in the shower.
We don't have hot water sorry, but you can boil water with the kettle.
No overnight guests sorry
- Don't drink the tap water. We have filtered for you
Hi there. I am a journalist from New Zealand, living in Accra Ghana with my husband, John, a wonderful Ghanaian chef.
We are both driven professionals, love to meet new people, talk art, music, books, culture and politics.
We are new to Air BnB hosting but very excited to take part. We have hosted a number of friends and family here in Accra. We are happy to help you navigate Ghana and will give you as much information as we can.
