After a 77 km drive from Dehradun, walk for 700 metres to meet everything that's largely recycled or reused. Some unique leisure experiences like hiking in the hidden Kodia Forest, home stay experiences in farmers and shepherds homes, riverside dining, and camping in the woods helps you commune with yourself, or the one you chose to share your space with.
The accommodation is a mix of five wood and stone cottages and condominiums. You can also opt to stay with farmers, shepherds in their mudhouses (chhanis) and traditional homes. There's no electricity inside the cottages by design. The kitchen, however, has electricity and phones, etc can be charged. The cottages get lit up by candles and kerosene lamps in the evenings. Hot water can be availed in buckets from a common, renewable resource.
Eat the traditional indigenous stuff, milk the goats, read, get your hands dirty in the farming, go for some tranquil treks or simply do nothing and chill. Room Tariff inclusions: Accommodation for a day, pre-planned & pre-scheduled dining experiences during b/fast, lunch, perennial/filtered drinking water, evening tea & dinner.
