The double bedded, ground floor flat is cosy & simple with en-suite shower room & well equipped galley style kitchen. The self-contained flat is part of Le Hurel Farm Cottage but has its own private entrance door & garden to the side of the cottage. Everything from beach towels & dressing gowns to linen is provided.
I'm local to Sark & run Le Hurel with my parents, who live on the farm next door & we're all very happy to provide you with knowledge, assistance & suggestions should you require.
Le Hurel Farm Cottage can be found on the East coast of Sark, close to Greve de la Ville bay and beautiful coastal paths. The lovely cottage is no more than ten minutes from ‘The Avenue’ for shopping and all restaurants/bars /pubs are also within convenient walking or cycling distance.
The double-bedded, ground floor flat is cosy and simple with en-suite shower room and a well equipped galley style kitchenette. The self-contained flat is part of Le Hurel Farm Cottage (also available to rent for up to 6 people) but has its own private door from the pebbled front garden.
The kitchenette has a range of pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and utensils as well as a counter-top mini oven & grill with two hotplates, a combination microwave and a slow cooker. There's also an under counter fridge with freezer compartment and worktop space for preparing your meals.
Although there is a drop-down table for two in the kitchenette there's also a dining table and chairs in the snug, which gives you the versatility to eat, drink, read and/or write in every room of the flat depending on your preference. The chairs are really comfy and there are plenty of cushions/blankets for snuggling up on should you want to.
Self-catering means you're not tied to meal times, and can therefore explore all that Sark has to offer at your own pace. Staying at Le Hurel flat, you can put your dinner in the slow-cooker in the morning and head off out to walk the cliffs knowing that your dinner will be done when you get back in, bake biscuits to take out with you as snack when cycling around or roast a chicken and enjoy it with fresh local vegetables!
In your pretty walled garden to the side of the flat there is a table and chairs for you to make the most of the wildlife and weather; enjoying your breakfast in the morning sunshine, sitting in the evening warmth reading a good book or admiring the stunning dark skies once the sun has set

My parents own and run Le Hurel farm as well as run the Clos de Menage Country House (also on AirBnB for more luxurious and larger living!) just over the road and so they're always around to help with anything you need.
I'm local to Sark and although I'm now based in Jersey I'm always available on the phone or over email to help with anything I can.
I'm more than happy to try and pre-book or organise any excursions, trips or bicycle hire etc for you - just ask!
Sark is extremely beautiful and is a very unique place with no cars and no crime.
Being an island we can see up to two seasons in one day and so a wind/waterproof coat is a must, as well as 'good solid' shoes (as there isn't the need for tarmac so we have stone roads that are sometimes uneven)
I'm a hardworking, fun & bubbly Mum who lives with my wonderful family on the beautiful island of Jersey. Lucky enough to have grown up and spent the first 23 years of my life living in the most stunning and special place in the world; Sark.
Car-free, crime-free and simply amazing.
I enjoy gardening, the outdoors, walking and exploring (but only swimming in the sea if it's over 30 degrees!!)
Along with my parents, Hilary & David, who own and run a farm in Sark, I manage 3 properties that are all listed on AirBnB. We're great hosts; warm and genuine with clean homes that we'd be delighted to welcome you into, so that you too, can experience Sark and all the wonderful, special things that make it to tranquil & unique.
Message me if you've got any questions at all! :) x
