Welcome! My home is a beautiful work in progress, but I love to share it with others. It is a large house in a quiet and friendly neighborhood, set on a beautiful 1 acre wooded lot. This listing is for a cozy second floor bedroom with en suite bathroom (shower) furnished with a double bed and chair. (A second bedroom across the hall is listed separately.) The second floor is otherwise unused and is quiet even when people are home. (Note: I am rarely able to accommodate same day bookings.)
This 2nd floor bedroom is a smaller, cozier space. It has a full size bed, a comfortable chair, and a private en suite bathroom with shower.
I do have pets, though they are kept out of the bedrooms. Dogs can be segregated from the guest areas, but are quite friendly if you want a snuggle! The two cats are sociable and will insist on saying hello. If you have any allergies (or aversions to animals or their odor) this may not be the Airbnb for you. The rooms are not affected by the animals, according to past tenants; however, I am working towards new pet-friendly flooring and this is one of the reasons I decided to try Airbnb!
DISCLAIMER: I have pets. If you have any allergies, aversions, sensitive sniffers, or nose-wrinkling reactions to pets or their au de parfum, you should probably book elsewhere. I do my best, keep my house as clean as possible, and restrict them from certain parts of the house - including the guest rooms - but I am not perfect, nor are the pets. I would love to open my home to you, but I want you to be happy and comfortable. If you aren't, then I'm not. And this should be a positive experience for all of us.
Do not flush anything down the toilets other than the toilet paper provided.
Please do not use neighbor's driveway to arrive / depart. The top of the drive may be used to turn around in order to drive out.
Interactions are your call. I am friendly and love to meet new people, but I am also active and may be off for an adventure of my own. You can always reach me via text - whether I am just down the hall or down the street.
Hello! I am a veterinarian who tended to bring "work" home with me all the time, so I have a small happy family of fur. I recently transitioned out of general practice and emergency to work in industry which allows more time to enjoy my life. I moved to Toledo in 2008, after 6 months of resisting the invitation to work here because I "will never live in Toledo." Here I am, how many years later, loving Toledo more and more each day. I love to travel, and hope to do more soon (Budapest and Munich are on deck!), and when at home I find adventure through a local circus studio (my current love is trapeze!) and in building up the AcroYoga Toledo community.
