Peaceful double en suite room in family farmhouse in a rural location within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park a mile from popular Newport, Pembs. Light, spacious room with mountain views and French doors on to the garden. Continental breakfast served to room. Space to store bikes, kayaks, etc. Ideal for couples who like walking, wildlife, cycling, riding, the outdoors, sailing, kayaking and golf or just want to get away from it all in the peace and tranquility of the Preseli hills.
Our old Welsh farmhouse is located up a quiet track in idyllic countryside just below Carn Ffoi, an old Iron Age Fort. The house is surrounded by five acres of beautiful meadow grassland and has both sea and mountain views. We share the farmstead with our two naughty Shetland ponies, Elsa and Alice, our chickens and two Welsh Border Collies.
The room is fairly separate from the rest of the house and accessed by a different door from the main door of the house. There is cupboard and hanging space in the room and your en suite shower room is supplied with towels, soap and toilet paper. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
The adjacent Laundry Room is available for you to use to prepare food if you wish with sink, crockery and cutlery. There is a dedicated outdoor area with fantastic sea views equipped with table and chairs and fire pit/BBQ and you are welcome to use the rest of the garden.
There is space in a large barn to store bikes, kayaks, etc., and hang wet suits and wet weather gear. There is off road guest parking opposite the house.

I will meet you on arrival so that I can give you all the information you need for your stay. I grew up in the area and lived on Mountain West for last the eight years so I can provide you with lots of information on the area should you need it. Being a busy family we may not always be around but if we are we welcome any questions you have.
Our house is located off the road up a narrow rough track of about 100 yards with a large rock prominent the top of the track on the right hand side. For those who don’t feel confident to tackle the track there is plenty of space to park at the bottom and then it is just a short walk to the house.
Whilst the room is not big enough for another bed, we can offer a travel cot for a small fee for those couples with a baby.
Wild camping is available on our land for a small extra fee if you wish to extend your party as long as you are happy for them to share your en suite bathroom.
- As we have children we would request that noise is kept to a minimum after 9pm. Please take off muddy boots at the front door. Please keep all gates shut.
