Welcome to Boston's West End! Located at the foot of Beacon Hill and within walking distance to many popular attractions, my one bedroom apartment is the perfect space for relaxing after a long day touring the city. Whether enjoying the view of the Lenny Zakim Bridge and the Charles River from the private balcony, or snoozing before a delicious dinner in the North End, this spot is a great choice!
The kitchen has all stainless steel appliances, which were newly installed this past January. There are pots and pans available if you would like to cook, as well as a coffee machine, electric kettle, blender, and toaster. Whole Foods is a 5 minute walk. Or, if you prefer locally sourced goods, you should visit the Boston Public Market - only 10 minutes away.
The living room is very open, with plenty of space for an air mattress. An avid reader, I keep plenty of books on the shelves by the television (which I don't use very often). I don't have cable - only Netflix and WiFi - but there is a lounge with a widescreen television on the ground floor with lots of comfortable couches and chairs where you can access almost any channel! There is also a theater room with theater chairs for a more cinematic experience.
The lounge also includes open study space, private conference rooms, free WiFi, a shared dining area with a refrigerator and sink, and a coffee machine (which also includes hot chocolate). The conference rooms can be reserved ahead of time. The furniture is modern and attractive and the space is regularly vacuumed and cleaned.
The bathroom is a decent size, with a tub/shower, granite bathroom sink counter tops, a wide mirror, and excellent lighting. Plenty of towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash will be available on your arrival!
The bedroom features a queen size bed and broad windows overlooking the Lenny Zakim Bridge - which is particularly impressive when the lights turn on to highlight the bridge's architecture (the colors change almost every night). With the curtains open, you can see the bridge from the bed.
I only keep light curtains on the windows, but if you would prefer light-blocking blinds, I can install them ahead of your arrival to ensure a more peaceful night's sleep!
There is a significant amount of closet space - three closets (two connected, another separate) are in the bedroom. There is another large closet in the hall leading from the living room to the bedroom. The washers and dryers are located in the basement of the building.
The building is very secure - there is a gatehouse next to the entryway and each building has a separate, 24-hour concierge.
The gym (located on the first floor of Tower One) is free for all residents, and has plenty of weightlifting equipment, treadmills, a yoga space, a cycling studio, and a rowing machine. There are also basketball courts and tennis courts, which can be reserved on request.

On your arrival, I will meet you with keys and introduce you to the building and the apartment. I am very respectful of privacy and want you to feel entirely at home.
Three things to keep in mind:
First, I have a dog (a lovely greyhound named Cooper), so my apartment may not be the best fit for visitors with pet allergies. While the apartment is thoroughly cleaned and as free of pet hair as possible, I can't guarantee a perfectly allergy-free experience! (And though this may be obvious - Cooper will be with me and not in the apartment while you are there)!
Second, the apartment is located next to Massachusetts General Hospital. While the apartment is incredibly quiet considering its location, the distant sounds of sirens could be bothersome to light sleepers.
Finally, the windows do NOT have screens. I've requested screens more than once, but none have been installed. When opening windows, please exercise extreme caution.
Hello! I am a Massachusetts native with a passion for traveling. I work in Boston's financial district, and I love to escape the city for short jaunts further away from the hub. I also love international travel, and there is a long list of countries that I am determined to visit!
I am 29 years old, a working professional, and an aspiring runner (finished my first 5k last fall)! Apart from travel, I love ballet, hiking, painting, and reading.
My best travel companion is Cooper, a nine-year old rescue greyhound. His favorite activities are napping and dinner. He loves children, soft toys, and scratches behind his ears.
