My characterful 1930s maisonette is complete with garden and period features including original bay window and wooden floors. Located on a wide, leafy, quiet road 50 yards from the park, and tastefully furnished, it's the ideal base to explore Oxford
Welcome to this sunny, characterful first floor maisonette in a 1930s period terrace house on a wide, leafy, quiet street leading to the local park.
The maisonette is stylishly furnished and features wooden floors, original sash bay window, a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, and a double bedroom overlooking the landscaped garden. A futon in the lounge can be used to sleep extra guests. Wireless internet is available and there is plenty of on-street parking.
Situated on a wide, leafy road within a minute’s walk of Florence Park, guests can enjoy tree-lined avenues, green spaces, tennis courts, and crazy golf! The local pub and corner shop are equally close for all amenities. The area is between the popular Cowley and Iffley Roads, 2 miles from the city centre, which is easily accessible by regular buses from the bus stop opposite the flat.
It is a 15-minute walk to the ‘olde worlde’ charm of Iffley village and the river, and to the lively restaurants, bars, cafes, pubs, and independent shops of Cowley Rd.
Located on the east of the city, it is also ideal for travel to and from London on the regular, 24-hour coach service.
Guests have access to the rear garden via the passageway at the side of the house. The garden is shared with the owner of the flat below, but guests are welcome to enjoy the landscaped garden on the right-hand side of the central dividing path.

The listing is available when I am away on my travels, and while I enjoy providing tips and info on the local area when requested, I generally take a hands-off approach to allow guests to settle in and enjoy their own little 'home away from home' in the city of the dreaming spires.
The maisonette has been thoughtfully converted from a terraced house, which offers all the benefits of your own front door and period features, but please note that the staircase from the front door to the flat is rather narrow and steep, and please be considerate of my neighbour in the flat below, as the wooden floors do not make for the best sound proofing!
Please be considerate of the neighbour in the flat below and keep noise down after 11 pm.
