Andrew is an angry and unfortunate person. He has been harassing me and calling my phone over the past few days to the point where I had to block him. I have been a super host for 3 years and a host for 5. I've never had such issues with a guest and given that he only stayed 2 days, it's quite astounding. Andrew entered my property a day early and texted me at 330am (I was overseas) he asked where the parking pass was located. When I informed him he was a day early and not yet meant to be in the apartment he apologized and said he would leave. At this hour (930 pm in LA) it was impossible to know if he did actually vacate however the cleaners came the following day to do laundry and thoroughly clean the apartment. They opened my armoire as they normally do to retrieve items I keep locked away. Then Andrew spent his first night. I received a text the following morning that he wants to check out because I don't have ac. The listing states such and the apartment is always cool, but of course if he isn't comfortable I would accommodate a cancellation. Then he decided he changed his mind again and would stay a second night. On the final day I sent Andrew a message wishing him a nice visit and reminding him of the 11a check out as I had cleaners arriving again to prepare for the coming guests. He sent me a photo of a single hair on the bed and on the toilet and told me I'd receive a bad review because of these 2 hairs he found. My cleaners arrived and could not get into the armoire with the kay as usual and said it looked scratched. I asked them to leave it in the apartment. Upon returning home it was clear the closet was tampered with and can no longer be unlocked. Be cautious that this is clearly someone who has huge problems and is looking for trouble. What a shame for those of us who truly enjoy hosting kind and trust worthy guests.
