We stayed in Miguel's flat as a couple. The flat is quite small, but very bright and cosy. Flat was very clean and kitchen & bath room had everything you need. It is located in the Madragoa neighbourhood, which is a nice part of old town a bit away from the most busy tourist areas (like Baixa, Barrio Alto, Alfama). Which means that you are sharing the streets mainly with locals and not tourists. There are a few very nice restaurants just around the corner and a supermarket as well. If you want to join the tourist masses, it's just a 20min walk or short tram/bus ride (line E28 and E25, both the classical small Lisbon trams have stations just 5min from the flat). You can even walk to the final stop of the trams in Campo de Ourique within 20min from the flat...which means you will get a seat and can enjoy the ride through the nicest areas with E28.
Anyhow...we really loved the place. If you prefer to be bit off the most beaten tracks, then this flat is a good choice! As well Miguel is super nice and lives only 10min (URL HIDDEN) case there is something.
