View of the front of the house, the roses are not in yet. Great place for watching sunsets and an excellent location in the heart of the village but very quiet. Quiet nice neighbors. Please note we have dropped our prices for the off and shoulder seasons and are no longer offering wifi and satellite tv, there are plenty of free wifi spots within walking distance.
This is an interesting, homey old/newer house. the original back part was build around 1865, the newer part in the front on the 1970's. Because of this the house can be separated into two parts, the original older part has it's own kitchen, bathroom with washer/dryer and upstairs bedroom with a skylight and queen sized bed. The newer part is available if you only need three bedrooms, we can close off the back part if you do not need it.
Animals are very welcome, I have plenty of my own at our farm (10 minutes away)! If you have anyone who loves horses, we can arrange a visit with mine, my mini horse Rusty loves kids.
*** One of our reviews notes that I cancelled their reservation 10 days before it was reserved - well, that was *when* they reserved and my husband had just had a heart attack, I doubt I was in any shape to be a good hostess, eh?***
My Italian husband and I really enjoy welcoming guests to Pugwash, we ran a B&B in Italy for 5 years. Our cottage is meant to be homey and comfortable, like going home to see your Grandparents. Kids and pets are very welcome, there is so much to do in our area, I am never bored. Pugwash has amazingly nice people, always willing to talk to you. You can walk to all the local amenities: beach, groceries, liquor store, post office, bank, hospital.....living here reminds me of growing up on Cape Cod in the 1960's.
My husband is Cyrus Eaton's grand nephew and is always willing to tell you family stories about him. The house is for sale with the understanding that all guest reservations will be honoured before the closing. There are a lot of good vibes here, it is a happy house with many good memories in it waiting to happen.
